I bought a set of those brackets, at least the ones I got were cheaply made.

All the saw horses we have around here were bought off of auctions and are very stout. I'd say the top of the legs are cut at a 45 then plywood gussets to strengthen them up with the bottom of the legs cut at 22.5

Anyone got a good set of plans with angles for legs etc ? I like tall ones about 36 inch tall so can make portable workbemch also ,anyone got some ideas ?
55 gal. drums work pretty good for portable work benches, or 33's if you want something shorter...
I don't even bother with the wood saw horses anymore, I like the adjustable height and width plastic foldable ones...saves a lot of space when im not using em!

NO! shame on you Brian....cant even figure out how to build a damn sawhorse!
I have a set i built ,but i ran the boards wild ,and hacked them off with a sawzall ,they look tacky ,and would like to have a respectable set .Used old oak pallets for the wood ,they are sturdy ,but ugly .

Brian, this is roughly what we would knock out on framing jobs out of cutoffs. Usually used plywood gussets at the top. The inverted "T" sets the angle right and you can splay the legs toward the ends to get a broader foot print.
