Anyone know if the Mahle slant fin cylinders used on the 10mm & 12mm saws are the same?.......They appear to be.

I know there's some issues with ring gaps hanging up on ports - are the 12mm and 10mm slant fin pistons the same too? So don't put a straight fin piston on a slant fin cylinder in general?

I call BS on that. The ports are a bit wider on the 12mm cylinders, but they are still way within the comfort area to run a 10mm piston.

If you are freaked out by it, run a 10mm meteor slug. It’s a 12mm piston that’s bore for the 10mm pin. The pin bearing can move a bit from side to side, but I’ve never seen a failure personally.
