Had Kevin build/port a 346 from a 353 and port a new Makita at the same time. They both are impressive to say the least. The 346 is an absolute blast to run even with a long bar (24 full skip). The 7900 is really my go to big saw now. I also purchased a 357 he ported for another member here...
Selling the RS2 I bought last year from Mark on here. It has been upgraded to the SCarr adjustable linear slide. Includes 2 new wheels and 2 used wheels. It doesn’t come with a stand, I mounted it to my table. I’d like $1500 plus shipping or there about in that neighborhood on trade. This is my...
So I finally used a super jolly grinder with a CBN wheel and I am sold on the speed and precision. However I was looking at a chain I had done today and the profile was different side to side. I noticed that the 3rd function wasn’t on zero. I don’t use it so I was curious if you could lock it at...
Have a 1072 Holiday II that is a runner and in decent shape, looking to convert it to a rim sprocket where I can run 3/8 on it instead of the .325, the spur it pretty worn. TIA.
Usually I like looking things up, today meh, who makes a light 24” K095 or a convertible/adaptable to a K095 light bar? Got a chance to run my XS converted 353/346 and I have to say 24” full skip EXL looks like money except the nose heavy part.
Used less than 1 tank, it was replaced by a brand new carb modded by Kevin for the adjustable H jet. $125 shipped lower 48.
This is a fixed H jet OEM carb that was ran less than 1 tank on the saw.
Somehow I ordered a large Stihl mount 32” .050 bar. If anyone is looking for one or has a large mount Husky 32” .050 new, or really low use I’ll trade. $80 plus the ride or straight trade each covering their own ride.
Anyone ever replicated the angle of square filed with a round file before? I tried it this afternoon on a new Oregon EXL without touching the rakers, it was perfect for noodling, needed more off the rakers for bucking. It most mimics the Goof file side plate. First 2 are taking the gullet out...
Anyone ever had a running saw just quit wanting to start and found the aluminum disk bent so far the it was keeping the diaphragm from picking up fuel??? It was on a 272XP new to me purchased here, it was running fine when I purchased it and bared it up the first time to test run then shelved...
Not nearly as big as many here, but my really nice condition Husky 2 series. I think the patience looking for these is what makes them so thrilling. My other saws aren’t really collectible.
